Bellatrix was always so graceful: the way she walked, the way she talked, everything, and Regulus admired that about her, almost going so far as to want to be just like her in that sense.

"Wishing on stars is useless, Cousin," Bella says, laughing at Regulus for doing such a silly thing, and adding, "If you want something to happen, you need to make it so."

Bellatrix spends most of her wedding reception playing a very tough game of hide and seek with Regulus and Barty-- she says if nobody finds the three of them, she will take them out for ice cream later, and the two eleven-year-olds go along with the ploy happily.

You got frosting in Bella's hair on her seventeenth birthday--it was her Coming of Age and you got frosting in her hair-- and you were so scared she would be angry, you didn't realise she'd returned the favour until she laughed and told you to open your eyes.

Regulus is mortified when Bellatrix walks in on him and Barty, but all thoughts of, 'Oh fuck I'm dead,' are gone when she ruffles his hair and says, "Pity I do not have my camera on me, you two are so cute all the time."

It wasn't really a thing, and you two would have ended it eventually, but when your mother puts an abrubt halt to all those late night, behind closed doors activities you get up to with Bellatrix, you can't help but miss her.

Bellatrix is loud, out there, always the centre of attention, causing a stir-- Regulus is content with just getting lost in the crowd and watching his cousin in her element.

Bella snaps at somebody for accidentally touching her hair, breaks the man's fingers, actually, and Regulus is glad that no-touching rule does no apply to him.

It was a simple, naive question--all teenagers wanted to know what it was like at some point-- but the answers Regulus got from Bellatrix were just a bit more than he had been expecting.

Whenever Sirius picks another fight with their parents, Regulus hums a song Bellatrix used to sing to him as a child, and he feels a little bit better.

Regulus has nightmares sometimes, where Bellatrix and Barty are decidedly less lucky in the battles they engage in than they normally are, and he feels the doubt creep in more and more after each sudden awakening.

Regulus jolted and let out a small shriek (that he would later deny) when Bellatrix appeared out of the shadows with an eerie, "Boo."

Bellatrix has far more fun hanging around with her cousin Regulus and his friend Barty--playing childish games, sitting around and laughing--than she does with people her own age.
