Comfort
Ever since Romano was a small child, nothingmade him feel better infuriated him quite like being shoved against Spain's chest in a crushing hug.
Kiss
Romano's first proper kiss took place right after he finally unified with his brother, just before he left Spain's house, and it was too wet (stupid bastard had the audacity to cryas well), too sorrowful, and too full of loss for his liking.
Soft
Spain's hands aren't soft, Romano notes, they are actually quite callused, despite their smooth appearance, and that fact describes him far more perfectly than anything else ever could.
Pain
Romano knows that, despite being an over overly cheerful, carefree, sweet, airheaded man, Spain is far stronger than he is, so he is always thankful when he chooses not to retaliate against his headbutts and occasional swats to Spain's shoulder.
Potatoes
It's his deepest, darkest secret, but whenever Spain calls him for breakfast and serves up his tortilla de patatas with a smile, Romano can't help enjoy the food, despite its disgusting, devilish ingredients.
Rain
Spain's smile always seems just a little off when the rain starts to fall, but Romano never says anything, especially when he finds himself dragged out into the downpour.
Chocolate
On cold days, Spain makes Romano some Spanish hot chocolate, Romano claims it doesn't taste any different from regular hot chocolate, and the two just sit around, warming up under blankets and from the heat of their steaming mugs.

Romano had no idea what to call the soft emotion that pooled in his stomach whenever Spain smiled at him.
Telephone
The best (or worst, if you ask Romano) thing about the invention of the telephone is that whenever Spain feels lonely, he can always ring Romano.

Spain and Romano both often complain that the other never listens to them.

The way Spain whispers his name just so is what always drives Romano over the edge.

Nobody will ever understand just how beautiful Spain finds it when Romano punches him in the arm.

I've always been a fan of one- sentence- challenges, because every sentence is guaranteed to make an impact, especially from a writer such as yourself.
As it was, I found myself enjoying the entire thing greatly, and was impressed by your usual fantastic characterisation which was conveyed so well each time in so few words.
I'd have to say that Kiss, Sex, Weakness, and Completion were my favourites.
Kiss because the imagery was so beautiful, Sex because I've never read, or thought about Romano laughing hysterically, but can now absolutely see that, Weakness because I'm a sucker for lunatic!Spain (especially when Romano holds the key to his humanity), and Completion because, bugger me. So gorgeous. Pretty much sums up their entire relationship in a few words, and hnnngh~ <3
